During his over 14 years Big 4 Accounting Firm experience, Tim has served in audit, tax and advisory roles with a focus on entrepreneurial and high growth enterprises across a wide variety of industries. During this time, he assisted numerous clients with capital raises, including completion of initial public stock offerings for four of his technology clients. Tim also has over 10 years business leadership experience through senior management positions he’s held with R.W. Armstrong, a global engineering firm, First Advantage Corporation, (NASDAQ: FADV), a pre-employment screening company, CIC Enterprises, a provider of tax credit and fleet compliance services, and Quantum Health Resources, a chronic disease management and home healthcare provider.

Barb has owned and operated Lima & Associates, LLC for over 5 years, assisting small and mid-size businesses and their owners with their bookkeeping, accounting and tax needs. In addition to her experiences at Lima & Associates, LLC, Barb has more than 4 years of Big 4 public accounting experience with Deloitte and has spent more than 10 years working in accounting leadership roles for the real estate investment companies of Simon Property Group and AIMCO. In her various roles, including as Accounting Manager and Financial Controller over the accounting for more than 200 properties, her experience includes REIT accounting, SEC and HUD reporting, general ledger conversion and handling acquisitions and dispositions of various properties.
Barb has great expertise in accounting and tax, an organized and detail oriented accountant with the highest degree of integrity and ethics. She has a proven track record of providing great service and value to small and mid-size businesses and their owners. She is passionate about providing accurate and timely information and insights to business owners to effectively reduce costs and improve their earnings.
Barb holds a B.S. in Accounting from Purdue University and is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and certified in QuickBooks Online and Desktop.
Barb is a proud wife and mother of two sons and a daughter. In her free time she enjoys volunteering in her community, reading, watching college sports and the NFL and spending time with her family.
In a career spanning more than 20 years, Rob has experience in several industries, including distribution & logistics, specialty retail, light manufacturing and media. Serving in various roles, he has worked for some of the most respected companies in those industries, including The Limited (Express), Victoria’s Secret, Jo-Ann Fabrics & Crafts, HSN, Creative Mobile Interiors and American City Business Journals.
Having worked as a controller for several companies, Rob has successfully assisted business owners organize and streamline all aspects of their accounting functions and controls, as well as identifying key performance indicators and providing the necessary timely reporting to monitor these businesses. In addition to the accounting functions, he has experience with inventory management, purchasing and human resources compliance.
Rob holds a B.S. in Business Administration from The Ohio State University. He has experience with a wide array of accounting systems, including Quickbooks Online, Epicor, Peachtree and MAS90. Rob is also a Florida Notary Public.
Rob is proudly married to Christine. Together, they have one son and one daughter. In his free time, he enjoys volunteering in his community, reading, boating, watching college football and spending time with friends and family.
Nancy brings over 25 years bookkeeping experience to Lima & Associates. A long-time New York area resident, Nancy resided in New Jersey before moving to Florida three years ago. She has accounting experience with many large corporations and small businesses, having worked in the accounting and treasury departments at companies such as Avis, Harcourt, Brace and Jovanovich. She also has experience in property management in various capacities, from accounting to property management. Prior to moving to Florida, Nancy was the co-owner of a small construction company in which she handled the bookkeeping and office management functions.
Nancy is also an accomplished watercolor artist and applies the same passion for detail in her bookkeeping as in her artwork.
